Walgreens 1/31/10-2/6/10

UPDATE:  Well, after looking at our short version of this weeks ad, I am not sure we can do the Bayer Monitor deal.  I don't see it in the ad for us, so I may try it, if not I will be sticking to the FREE items for rolling on the back page.

Sorry I have been MIA, I have been preparing for a book club party this weekend, and have had a ton to get ready.

Next week there is a GREAT Register Reward deal at Walgreen's!

If you want to get in on the RR deals here is what I think I am going to do

Transaction #1
1 Bayer Contour Monitor
$14.99
Use $14.99 MFQ
Get $10.00 RR

$0.00 OOP and then get $10.00!!!

Transaction #2
1 Joint Juice 30 Pack
$10.00
Use $10.00 RR from previous Transaction
Get $10 RR back

$0.00 OOP and earn $10.00 RR

Transaction #3
Vitamin Schtick Lip Care $1.99
Blink Tears $7.99
Use $2.00 MFQ
Then I am going to get $2.00 worth of Valentine's junk for my kids.
Pay with my $10.00 RR from previous Transaction

Then I plan on purchasing the Bayer Monitor a couple more times so that I can get the $2.00 bags of chips in the ad with my $20.00 in RR's.  I will be able to buy 10 bags and then get $10 back in RR's.  Then I think I will buy my weekly newspaper stash!

Sounds like a deal to me.  I plan to donate my meters.  So, a money maker for me and a bonus for someone in need!

Have a great weekend!  I know I am behind on the grocery deals, but there are some great ones this week.  I will try to post them on Sunday.

Grocery Deals 1/20-1/26

Safeway:
Annie's Mac and Cheese on sale for $1
$.50 off one Printable

Make sure to print it twice, just click your backspace button until it prints again.
I printed this a while back and used one, so I only had one to use on this sale.

I thought the Softsoap was a great deal at $.88 with the $.35 MFQ, but it has a size restriction and won't work on the size that is on sale.  I am hanging onto my coupons for the right sale on these.  You can get them for about $.18 each with this coupon.

There is a deal that I read about here for Free Fruit Snacks at Safeway.  Looks like a great deal with a Catalina that will print and you can roll it into another deal.

Goldfish will be $.88 during the weekend.

I didn't pick much else up this week, I few things here and there, but mostly did Sprouts for Produce.

I will get some more deals listed when I can.  I have a crying child at the moment.

Target Cottonelle Coupon

Cottonelle Emailed me a coupon that you can print.  It is a PDF, so print as many as you need.  This is a TARGET coupon, so combine it with the manufacture coupon and it may work out to be a great Toilet Paper deal.

I don't know the price of the TP, but print it and hang on to it for a sale, it doesn't expire until 2/16/10

FREE Nivea Body Wash

Target has Nivea Body wash on sale this week for $2.99

Target Coupon Here for $1.00 off 1

There was also a $2.00 off 1 coupon in the paper on the 13th I believe.

So, here is the scenario:
$2.99
-$2.00 MFQ
-$1.00 TQ
Total -$.01

So you will make a penny buying Nivea this week.  I have 7 coupons...I should be stocked up on Body Wash for a while.

Thanks michael_fallorin on AFullCup!

I will be on the look out for more Target Deals this week!

Earn Money with You Data

I have been using You Data for a long time now.  Every day I log into my account, check to see if there are any new ads to look at, and if there are, I click on them, and get paid for each ad I look at.  Takes me a little time, not much, but I use the money they put in my Paypal account to buy coupons.

Click Here to check it out and sign up!  It doesn't pay a ton, but every little bit counts and I use the coupons to then save me at the store!

Happy New Year

I hope your 2009 was fabulous and that 2010 will be even better!

It's a new year and we all know that it is a time to make new goals!
I am always looking to try and reduce what we spend here.  Since we run a business we can't trim off our home phone or internet...but we can get rid of that darn cable.  So, our goal for January is to get rid of that monthly bill.  Our plan is to hook up our tv's to the computer.  That way we can stream from netflix anything we want, and we also then stream tv programs.  Seems like a great plan to us.  We just need to find the right wireless device to hook up to.  We are still in research mode, but hope to find what we want by the end of the month.

Next, we all know that our grocery budget can creep up if we aren't careful.  I have a goal to spend $220.00 per month.  I am working toward that goal, so it may take me a while to get there.  This month I set my budget to $290.00, and anything that is left, I take and stash away for what ever I want!

I plan on doing a weekly spending recap to keep up to date on my grocery budget.  I will add that to the left hand column.

So far this month I am off to a great start.  One thing I am going to make sure and do each week is pick up cash to use on my grocery purchases.  Makes my check book accounting much easier, and I won't over spend because once the cash is gone...it is gone!

I picked up on some great deals already this month.

Safeway was running a deal for Nabisco crackers.  I picked up $10 boxes used $6 in coupons and paid $4.40, then I am going to submit for a rebate for $10.00 when you buy 10 nabisco crackers.  Total profit on this deal of $5.60.  I will add my rebate money back into my grocery budget when I receive it.

Target seems to be my favorite place these days.

(1) Saltine Crackers $2.04
