Banana Blueberry Muffins/Bread

This is our all time favorite Banana Bread recipe.  Something about adding blueberries to it makes is SUPER yummy!

The kids and I made this on Friday...and the dog finished it off...darn thief!

Banana Blueberry Muffins/Bread
3 large ripe bananas
3/4 C. Sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/3 C. Melted Butter
1 C. Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1-1/2 C. Flour

Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.  Add sugar and egg.  Add butter.  Combine dry ingredients and gently stir into banana mixture.  Fold in blueberries.  Pour into 12 well greased muffin cups.  Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. 
Makes 12 Muffins

If you make a loaf of bread with this recipe, grease your bread pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out almost clean.

Target Razor Deal

This was a great deal at Target using their gift cards.  My hubby is one happy camper.  I hope these will last him until next year!  I still have 4 from a previous deal.

Those coupons were attached to some of the Razors that I got.  These are Target coupons.  You need to buy a razor and a cartridge to get the $4 off.  This could be a great deal combined with MFQ's.  If you want these, I will get them out to you.  I won't be needing them.

Bread Store Grand Opening

I picked up a few deals last night at Kings and Safeway.  Thankfully I went because I was planning on doing this today, however...that darn stomach bug hit my daughter last night and she was up all night.  YUCK!  I pray no one I know gets this as it is really really nasty!

Anyway...here are the best deals I picked up...a few free and pay you items!

I also picked up Rosarita Refried beans for $.79 each.  Use the $.50 off 2 coupon in the 1/24 SS.  Making these $.29 each.

I'm Back...and a great deal!

After being out of town for the weekend and getting the stomach flu, I am back.  That stomach bug what ever it was seems to still want to hang on to me.  I am TIRED of it already.

A friend of mine informed me of a great deal!   Here is what she e-mailed me:

"I just learned from a friend that you can get free passes to the Butterfly Pavilion, Wildlife Experience, Dinosaur Ridge and a few other not so good places by requesting them from the Jeffco. Library Site. If you go to the Jeffco. Library site and go under Library & Community Info and then under Comm. Info and then select Culture Passes they have the different places where you can get free tickets to. It looks like you can only get them about a week out!

It looks like there are only so many available for each day.  So, if you plan ahead, you can get yourself free passes.  What a great way to get the kids out for some educational experience...and easy on the pocket book!

EDITED: If you click at the top you can change how many days out you want to look for passes...click next 30 days and you can get a pass on April 7th.

I will be posting some deals later today.  I must catch up and it is happening very slowly with my stomach still giving me troubles.

After all that shopping for the cereal deal...

and I am pooped out.  I only got 28 boxes and 14 gallons of milk.  I did give away some milk to my mom, and brother.  I also gave my brother and sister in law some cereal last night.  My hubby was just handing it out like it was Halloween.  LOL.  I don't mind sharing my loot.  I still have a TON and I know there will be another deal.  I am hoping for a deal on Chex cereal.  That comes about one time a year, so I will definitely be stocking up then...just to keep the hubby happy!
